Built because switching between a textbook and a PYQ PDF was wasting everyone's revision time.
Neelaxmi maps years of NEET and JEE previous-year questions directly onto the NCERT paragraphs they came from, so studying the book is studying for the exam.
How it started
Neelaxmi began as a personal fix for a problem every serious NEET UG aspirant runs into: NCERT is the syllabus, but knowing which lines of it examiners keep testing means constantly flipping between the textbook and a separate PYQ document. That back-and-forth eats into the hours students need for revision, and it's easy to finish a chapter without ever realizing which paragraph mattered most.
It's built and maintained by a NEET UG aspirant who is also a developer — someone studying for the same exam this tool is built for, under the name Team neelaxmi_official and NEELAXMI THE UNION.
What Neelaxmi does
The product itself stays simple on purpose:
- Renders the real NCERT chapter PDF, page for page, with nothing rewritten or summarised
- Highlights the exact lines and diagrams that previous-year NEET and JEE questions were drawn from
- Opens the linked question as a quick interactive MCQ the moment you tap a highlight
- Saves your reading position automatically so you can pick up a chapter later, on any device
Who it's for
Neelaxmi is built around NEET UG and JEE Main aspirants studying Biology, Physics, and Chemistry from NCERT — students who already trust the textbook and want a faster way to know which parts of it are exam-proven.
Where support happens
Updates, new chapters, and day-to-day support run through our Telegram community rather than a ticketing system, because most of what changes in the app comes directly from questions students ask there. You can reach us there or through the contact page.
